Meet the Illustrator

For as long as she can remember, Lavanya Naidu wanted to illustrate for kids' books. She went to art school in India and Paris, where she studied animation. One of her first jobs was for Cartoon Network as an animator. She lives in Australia, the land of drop bears and yowies. Her favorite foods are broccoli and french fries. She is fascinated by dinosaurs and collects little dinosaur statues. And she loves dogs, which means she's a fabulous person!

Meet the Narrator

The audio version of RATTY is narrated by Vikas Adam. Vikas was an avid reader as a child and his family moved around a lot.  Libraries were his safe place.  Every time he'd move to a new school, the first thing he'd do was go to the library and ask if they needed a student helper.  If he wasn't an audiobook narrator and actor, he may have been a librarian!    Favorite food: a bowl of steaming mac and cheese, or scalloped potatoes! He loves cheese. Is that why he was such a great narrator for RATTY?
